We offer curriculum-aligned, hands-on workshops for ages 6–15, delivered by founder and experienced Computer Science teacher Hannah Wright.
Featured at exhibitions, educational events, and school career days, our workshops are designed to simplify complex ideas and help students build real-world skills while promoting essential E-Safety awareness.

WORKSHOP 1 - Introduction to Computer Systems
Duration: 1 hour
Year group: KS3 + KS4
Group size: 20-25
For students who are wanting to learn about the inside of a computer system as part of the computing curriculum, Computer Science or ICT curriculum, STEM workshop, or students thinking about future careers. Workshop will be pitched dependant on the student year and questions asked.
Location requirements
Any classroom with tables that students can get into 4 groups around.
Resources
4x ComponentBuilder® kits, 8x Android locked phones with ComponentBuilder® app, real motherboards, presentation (to be emailed in advance).
Structure of lesson
5 mins Introduction of Hannah as a STEM and CyberFirst Ambassador, Founder of CirKits
15 mins Going through the presentation learning about real components and then slowly introduce the ‘town’ theme and then ComponentBuilder®
20 mins Activity to explore ComponentBuilder® and AR app whilst circulating the class
5 mins Discussion about real components and applying what they have learned
5 mins Discussion about where learning about the inside of a computer can lead to
10 mins Activity to discuss different industries in STEM

WORKSHOP 2 - Ideas into Business
Duration: 1 hour
Year group: KS3 + KS4
Group size: 20-25
For students who are considering GCSEs or thinking about future careers. Workshop will be pitched dependant on the student year and questions asked.
Location requirements
Any classroom with tables that students can get into 4 groups around.

Structure of lesson
5 mins – Introduction of Hannah as a STEM and CyberFirst Ambassador, Founder of CirKits
15 mins – Step by Step entrepreneurial skills in how to make a business out of an idea.
Each step has a real CirKits example
15 mins – Activity to explore ComponentBuilder and AR app
5 mins – Introduction to STEM and STEM skills
5 mins – Explore different careers in STEM
5 mins – Explore different STEM innovators
10 mins – Activity to discuss different industries

Duration: 30-45 minutes
Year group: KS1 + KS2
Group size: 20-30

Duration: 1 hour
Parents or older siblings
For parents or older siblings who are wanting to learn the fundamentals of E-Safety
Location requirements
Any classroom, hall or online.

E-Safety Presentation for Parents which will be emailed ahead of time.
Structure of lesson
Go through the presentation and answer any questions.
The presentation contains many reference links for parents to research in their own time and available on PDF.
